Fortune of the Tide celebrates the sand dollar, one of the coast's most beautiful natural treasures.

Finding an empty sand dollar washed ashore feels like receiving a small gift from the sea. A reminder that the most memorable discoveries aren't always the ones we set out looking for.

Some treasures are worth more than gold.

And the ocean has a way of leaving them exactly where we need to find them.
