The Portuguese man-of-war is a remarkable creature, drifting across the surface beneath its colorful sail while long tentacles trail through the water below.

Beautiful from a distance and deserving of respect up close, it reminds us that the ocean's wonders are not always meant to be touched.

Windward Drifter celebrates the mysterious travelers that move between the worlds above and below the waves.
